Kenwood at CES is intruding a new WiFi dongle for Android phones.

The dongle is one of the first to allow wireless streaming and AV display and control on the radio for an Android phone. It works just like the HDMI hard wire connection except it gives you wireless AV mirroring and full wireless control.

Called the KCA-WL100, it is aimed at drivers that don’t want to deal with adapters to link their Android phone with the radio.

It will work with iPhones as well but only for audio pass through with limited control from the radio.  And it works with Kenwood 2015 radios with HDMI.

The KCA-WL100 should be available at the end of April, or early May at an approximate $120 suggested retail price.
