iSimple released an improved version of its InSeam kit that adds Bluetooth with audio streaming and links to the steering wheel controls (SWC) in select vehicles.
It now provides better controls for music and improved OEM steering wheel control interfacing. It also now offers simplified installation.
The InSeam PRO (ISFM2202) creates a wireless smartphone connection to select Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, GMC, Jeep, Mercedes and Volkswagen vehicles with a CAN-bus system.
It has controls for adjusting audio volume and selecting tracks for most devices. It also works with an app to help set up the system and change parameters as well as activate driver safety features.
A designated steering wheel control button can be set to launch the device’s hands-free personal assistant on an iOS or Android device.
