AudioControl, known for its car audio processors, will introduce at the CES Show next month its first car audio amplifiers in 20 years.

The subwoofer amplifiers will use the company’s bass restoration processing (called Epicenter) and the amplifiers will use the names Epicenter 1200 and Epicenter 600.

They are rated at 1,200 and 600 watts of power output, respectively.

They also use a solid, single extruded cast chassis design for maximum performance and are stable into 1 ohm.

AudioControl said it is offering the amplifiers in response to dealer requests.

“…our dealers have been asking us to complement our leading audio-processors by offering powerful AudioControl performance subwoofer amplifiers,” said National Sales Manager Sean Reid. The amplifiers also useprecise crossovers, and high voltage pre-amp inputs.”

AudioControl will partner at CES with Bryan Schmitt and the team at Mobile Solutions to build a demo car to be introduced at the AudioControl booth #2117 at CES.

The Epicenter 1200 will be matched with the AudioControl DQ-61 processor in a customized 2015 Fiat Abarth.
