Industry Aids Retailer’s Family

Lance Putnam

It’s been a year since the industry lost Kentucky retailer Lance Putnam to cancer, leaving behind his wife Jenny, son Sawyer (9) and daughter Sydney (7).

The car audio industry came together at the time to help the family with donations and other demonstrations of support.

At the one year anniversary of his death, CEoutlook has joined with Avidworx, Del Ellis and Mobile Electronics Magazine to help make this Christmas a merry one for Lance’s family.

Avidworx and Ellis set up an online donation account at YouCaring.com, with the goal of raising $1,500 for the Putnam family.

Lance owned the Audio Center in Lexington, KY and he worked with the Mobile Electronics Retailers Assocation (MERA) to help unite retailers so they could share their knowledge and raise the profile of the car audio industry.  He was an inspiration to everyone who met him.

If you can make a donation to support the family, it would be hugely appreciated at this tough time. Lance was always there for his friends, and we can be there for him!
