NAV-TV StreamBlue

NAV-TV is now shipping  a new Bluetooth device that can replace or bypass your car radio.

First shown at KnowledgeFest (Mobile Electronics show) the device called StreamBlue wirelessly connects your smartphone or tablet to steering wheel controls so you can stream music while driving.

At $399, the device delivers audiophile sound over Dluetooth 4.0 with EDR (extended data rate), said NAV-TV.

Audio output is handled by RCA or digital S/PDIF (electrical coaxial) outputs so StreamBlue can connect directly to a radio audio input (factory or aftermarket) or an amplifier or a processor.

Users can pair up to 8 devices with the unit.

It may be used with steering wheel control interfaces (not included) from PAC, Metra or iDatalink.
