Crimestopper (recently purchased by Rockford Corp.)  is shipping an updated replacement rear view mirror with built in navigation that now offers a factory look and easier to use touch screen interface, it said.

The SecurView SV-9160 N series III now has a simpler 3-button menu for navigation with updatable maps and handsfree calling.  The mirror also now resembles a factory mirror when not in use.

It has an embedded 4.3 inch LCD screen and Bluetooth.  It has a “new BMW style graphical interface” with voice guidance.  Calling functions include Caller ID and phonebook.

The mirror also has auto-switching for use with a backup camera at a suggested $549.95.

Also new is a backup camera that replaces the third brake light in Dodge PROMASTER vans.  The model SV-6904.PM works with 2011-2013 PROMASTERS at $349.95.

In addition, the company will show at the SEMA show next month in Las Vegas, its blind spot detection system using 4 sensors, (SV-9159) and other replacement rear view mirrors including the SV-9159 with built in DVR and backup camera and the  SV-9164 mirror with backup camera and parking assist.
