ARLINGTON, VA–The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and Mobile Electronics Group (formerly MERA) will sponsor a second Car Tech Demo Days this year, to be held every weekend in November.
The event produces national news segments featuring car technology and a web site that directs consumers to local stores for in store demos of the products.
Retailers also get access to online marketing tools such as Facebook banner ads and help sending out emails to customers to invite them to in-store demos.
The Revenew Marketing Network will provide dealers with the digital marketing campaign that will also include in-store posters, an event micro site for the store’s web page, print ads, and more.
“There is tremendous innovation happening around in-vehicle technologies, and CarTech Demo Days provides the perfect platform for retailers to educate local consumers about these new advances,” said Chris Cook, president of the Mobile Electronics Group. “
The spring CarTech Demo Days event, held in May, included 800 participating car audio dealers and resulted in 17,000 visits to the micro web sites set up by dealers for the event.
“We encourage those retailers who have not taken advantage of this successful program to speak to their fellow members and learn about the positive impact Demo Days can have on their businesses,” said Ron Freeman, Chair of CEA’s Automotive Electronics Div. Board of Directors and CEO of AAMP of America.
