Avidworx, maker of car audio displays and Del Ellis, a leading car audio sales trainer, have agreed to represent each other to cross-promote their dealer services.
Working on the premise that some dealers are strong in sales but weak in store appearance and vice versa, the two will promote each other’s services when a dealer could benefit from one or the other, said Ellis.
“A lot of these guys might have a good looking store but don’t know how to sell, or they might know how to sell but the store needs work,” so the two companies will work with each other to promote their services, said Ellis.
“The good news from CES is that most retailers we spoke to saw business pick up in the last quarter of 2013, and they are eager to invest in their stores, employees and management systems to start increasing profits again,” said Marcel Newell, president of Avidworx.
Newell and Ellis said that working together, they can reach more store owners and managers than they could individually.
