Part of Dual Electronics’ broad 14 in-dash radio lineup for 2014 includes 5 CD receivers, two with gesture control.
A user can wave his hand left and right or up and down or extend the palm of the hand to control the radio for stop/play.
Other features controlled by gesture include tuning up/down and volume.
Dual calls the feature “motion control” and it’s found on the following receivers:
- DC404iM – CD receiver with extra wide 3.7” LCD, Motion Control, direct USB control for iPod/iPhone, and control for Pandora from an iPhone connected via USB.
- DC504BiM – CD receiver with extra wide 3.7” LCD, Motion Control, built-in Bluetooth, direct USB control for iPod/iPhone, and control for Pandora from an iPhone connected via USB.
Other new CD receivers include:
- DC204 – CD receiver with extra wide 3.7” LCD, and front panel USB and 3.5mm aux inputs.
- DCBT304U – CD receiver with extra wide 3.7” LCD, built-in Bluetooth, and front panel USB input.
- DC604i – CD receiver with full-graphic RGB display, direct USB control for iPod/iPhone, control for Pandora from an iPhone connected via USB, and 2 pairs of 4 Volt preamp outputs.
Also new from Dual are 2 CD-less (mechless) receivers, the XR4120 with USB, aux in and SD card inputs and the step up DM304i with a large 3-inch LCD, direct USB control for iPhone/iPod, control for Pandora from an iPhone connected via USB and two pairs of 4-volt preamp outputs.
