Directed confirmed that Mike Simmons resigned his post as President of the company October 17.
CEO and President of DEI Holdings Jim Minarik will assume Simmons responsibilities and Simmons will not be replaced, said the company.
The Directed management team will now report directly to Minarik.
Simmons was responsible for helping bring Directed into the connected car category. He joined Directed in 2008 and served in previous roles overseeing marketing and product planning.
A Directed spokesman said, “The management team that has made Directed great for the last 20 years continues in place.”
He was a good guy. Seems a lot of folks are bailing out of there.
