Lightning Audio launched a new series of subwoofers at the MERA KnowledgeFest tradeshow this weekend in Dallas.
The new L0 series offers affordable prices and “clean, deep bass,” said the company. Models include the L0-S410 and L0-S412, 10 and 12 inch woofers, respectively. Each handle up to 150 watt RMS.
Also in the line are single 12-inch and double 12-inch loaded subwoofer enclosures. All are scheduled to ship later this year.
The LO Series includes a stamped steel basket with spider venting to help reduce voice coil former temperature and increase power handling. It uses a nitrile butadiene rubber half-roll surround and nickel-plated spring loaded terminals.
