Scosche will release several new kits with built-in touch screens, allowing installers to replace the radio in cars where the AC/heating is tied to the radio controls.
The kits will work with the Chevy Malibu and Ford F 150, Explorer and Edge. They each include a 4.2 inch, full color TFT touch screen and 8 hard buttons. They retain the HVAC systems for both single and dual zone climate control and allow the installation of single or double DIN aftermarket radios.
The new kits will be on display at KnowledgeFest in Dallas starting Saturday, August 17. Pricing will be announced.
Scosche first offered a kit with a built-in touch screen for the Chevy Camaro in 2011 as shown above and it also offers similar kits for the Mustang and Taurus.
