Scosche is expanding into the motorcycle audio market offering one of the first car radio installation kits for a motorcycles from a car audio supplier.
The kit works with the larger Harley-Davidson motorcycles, providing a lower cost alternative to other kits on the market.
It is also unique in that it works with both the Road Glide and Street Glide, so dealers don’t need different kits for each model.
The kit includes a harness with handlebar retention-ready options. (An interface module is sold separately).
The kit, model HD7000B, is expected to ship soon at $79.99.
It will join one of Scosche’s first motorcycle products, the SAHD656 adapter ring to allow 6.5 inch speakers to drop into Harley bikes. This was first introduced at CES in
January and is scheduled to ship soon at $49.99.
