DICE Electronics, the maker of car audio kits and Internet Radio add-on devices, has sought Chapter 7 bankruptcy in the Central District of California.
DICE filed a petition for bankruptcy on March 25 stating the company held less than $50,000 in assets and less than $50,000 in liabilities.
DICE supplied advanced car audio integration kits to add Siri voice control to a car as well as permit the addition of Sirius and iPod/iPhone control.
Over a year ago, DICE entered a partnership with Audiovox Electronics and relinquished all marketing and distribution of DICE products to Audiovox, leaving DICE to focus on engineering and product development. The brand was renamed Audiovox Driven by DICE.
Attempts to reach DICE and its attorney were unsuccessful and the company’s former phone number is no longer operative.
