Car infotainment was represented in the nine CNET Best of CES Award Winners in 2013, as announced Thursday last week.
Chevrolet was honored for a truly daring (for a car company) car audio interface that will be available later this year on the 2014 Impala. In the new system Chevy shows us that the next car radio preset is not just for a radio station but for any feature you want it to be—a link to phone number, or Pandora can reside on the top of every screen, for example if those are your most often used features.
Otherwise, you get 8 icons per screen for your apps that you can rearrange at will. It’s worth watching this short clip.
