Alpine Adds Budget Subs With Hip-Hop Branding

Alpine Electronics introduced at CES a new line of budget subwoofers in collaboration with hip-hop band Far East Movement (noted for the chart topper hit  “Like a G6.”)

The band helped design and tune the new subs, which bear the name SWA BASSLINE.

The line is offered in pairs including two 12 inch subwoofers at $150/pair and two 10 inch models at $130/pair.  Power handling is 250 watts RMS.

  1. Come on Alpine, for such a good brand name you could do better. Aligning yourself with an alcoholic style video, one could definitely wonder about who is making these decisions. This screams wrong moral compass which is degrading our society.
