Industry veteran Kris Bulla, formerly of the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association (MERA) , has launched a new consulting firm called Techni-B, LLC.
The new company will provide a full suite of services aimed at the car audio industry, where Bulla has accumulated more than 15 years of experience and where his true passion lies. Services will include; technical writing, data acquisition, analysis and quality control, along with technology training. Strategic services will include business process analysis and improvement, as well as corporate project management.
“Techni-B was created to provide manufacturers and retailers with an efficient and dynamic mechanism to obtain the highest quality services without the sometimes prohibitive costs of dedicated fulltime, permanent personnel.” says Bulla. “With a proven ability to help bring new products to market, analyze data, and even assist in evaluating technical support systems, the aim is to help business partners grow profits.”
“Furthermore, retailers large and small can also realize reduced overhead and increased exposure and profitability through available content and e-services they may not be familiar with, or efficient at performing themselves.”
Bulla will remain Chair of the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA) Mobile Electronics Certified Professionals (MECP) Committee. The Committee oversees the only nationally recognized automotive electronics certification program. As Chair, Bulla works with a variety of CEA staff and industry volunteers to ensure the ongoing and changing needs of the industry are incorporated into the program, its study guides and exams. Bulla is an MECP Honorary Master Installation Technician and has worked with companies such as Alpine, VOXX International, Best Buy, Metra Electronics, OnStar, and with hundreds of independent retailers nationwide.
