Mobile Electronics Magazine announced its 2012 Industry Award Winners for car audio at KnowledgeFest on Sunday.
The top installer award went to Jeremy Carlson of Extreme Performance, Palm City, FL.
The top 4 retailers of the year were named as Sound of Tristate, Claymont, DE, Ocala Car Audio, Ocala, FL, Sonus Car Audio, Clarksville, TN and Sound Warehouse, Salt Lake City, UT.
Independent rep of the year was named as Jason Billups, principal of JB Associates in Lesage, W. Va.,
Rich DeSclafani National Sales Manager of Nav-TV won the award for Factory Representative of the Year.
Velocity Sales and Marketing of Gurnee, Ill., won the title of Rep Firm of the Year.
And the first award for Expeditor of the Year went to NewEngland based MiCorp Dealer Services.
Earlier this month, the magazine name Directed Electronics vendor of the year for 5 out of 5 categories including Technical Support, Sales Support, Marketing Support, Retail Protection and Warranty Support.
