CORRECTED! Compustar will ship in September an ultra-thin 2-way transmitter called “SLICE” for remote start and security systems.
It measures just under ¼ inch thick, offers 4,000 foot range and uses LEDs instead of LCDs to confirm commands such as remote starting the car.
The transmitter may be used with any spread spectrum-based Compustar remote start or security system.
The SLICE is part of Compustar’s broadest introduction of new transmitters to date. The company is showing 6 additional remote transmitters including many Superheterodyne Plus models with 3,000 foot range. Many also now sport new water resistant cases.
Pricing and details on 4 new PRO series and 2 new PRIME series will be announced later this month, said the company.
