In an unusual feature at Spring Break Nationals (SBN) this year, held March 24 and 25 in Daytona Beach, FL, JL Audio and Alpine will present their product training seminars not only to retailers, but to the general public.
“The state of consumer awareness for our category is pitiful,” said SBN Founder Paul Papadeas, “Our industry has suffered this deficit for many years and only events the likes of SBN, where a great number of consumers have the opportunity to learn what we, as an industry, have to offer, enlightens them to the category.”
Presenters for the product seminars will be Steve Turrisi of JL Audio and Steve Brown of Alpine.
Spring Break Nationals often draws over 10,000 attendees. It also pulls in dealers from all over the Southeast and it will hold several seminars and events this year aimed at retailers.
Todd Ramsey of Ramsey Consulting Group. will present hands-on training sessions on OEM integration on Sunday, March 25 from 9:30 am until at least 4:30 pm. The course is limited to the first 20 dealers who register in advance. The cost for registering is $149.00 and must be completed in advance—there will be no registration on site.
Ray Windsor, President of German Maestro will lead a seminar each day on sales training entitled, “How To Close The Sale In The Smartphone / Internet Age. “ Seating is limited to the first 70 dealers. Pre-registration is not necessary but seats are offered on a first come, first served basis.
