Elettromedia-USA, which distributes the Italian Audison/Hertz/Connection brands, announced Friday new Hertz full-range digital car amplifiers under its HDP line.

The amps “switch twice as fast as any other competitive full-range class D amplifier on the market today making the digital to analog conversion smoother, more musical,” said Larry Frederick, technical director of Elettromedia.
New models include the:
HDP1 (1,000 watts RMS mono block @ 1ohm) at $770
HDP4 (4 X 150 watts RMS @ 4 ohms, 2 X 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms) at $660
HDP5 (4 X 70 watts RMS @ 4 ohms +550 watts RMS @ 2 ohms) at $880
The line includes an input module designed to interface with any OEM (Speaker In) and aftermarket (RCA In) source. Elettromedia says the speakers are extremely flexible in settings possibilities and filter combinations. The design is high tech with a diamond-cut finish in a compact linear chassis.
