Dual is finally shipping its Axxera line of car stereo head units, which represents Dual’s first line just for specialist retailers.
The series includes 5 audio receivers, which will be joined by AV head units and speakers later this year.
All models have built-in Bluetooth for streaming audio and hands free calling. You can also access your phone book through the radio. All have 2 USB slots, full graphic LCD, and iPhone/iPod control.
Axxera products also get a two-year warranty.
Pricing ranges from $10.99 to $219.99.
The line was first previewed at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.

I looked on Dual’s website and warranty is listed as 1 year parts and labor.
I wish Jim Braun and his staff much luck with Axxera. Our industry is beginning to see a resurgence in concentration in the specialty channel. Long past due. I hope other head unit manufacturers will take note.
