If you missed the KnowledgeFest industry trade show in Dallas last fall, no worries, you can get a healthy dose of industry spring training at a mini KnowledgeFest to be held during Spring Break Nationals next month.
The schedule of seminars for the event has just been announced by the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association (MERA), which sponsors KnowledgeFest and the mini event during SBN.
Seminars include an industry roundtable to include OnStar’s director of retail marketing and sales Michael Solomon.
Another seminar is on the changing game in car AV installation and there are technical seminars on fabricating and remote start troubleshooting.
The industry training will be held Saturday, March 19 through Sunday, March 21 at the SBN Car Audio Expo in Daytona Beach.
Also on Monday, March 21—the trade-only day of the Spring fest—Installer Institute will hold drawings for free training classes (a $3,900 value). The drawings will be held at the close of the MERA seminars on Monday afternoon. Winning dealers get a 1 week class and may choose topics like Advanced Fabrication or Painting and Welding or Leather Interior Installations. Dealers must be present to win but they can sign up online at http://register.stnmedia.com/.
