AT&T will start selling Samsung’s Galaxy Tab on Sunday, and it will set buyers back $50 more than at other carriers offering the same 7-inch, Android tablet.
AT&T’s version will cost $649.99 instead of the usual $600 with no contract. Samsung is softening the blow with a $50 Media Hub movie rental credit.
U.S. Cellular also announced it will begin selling the Galaxy Tab on November 19 at a standard price of $399 after a $100 mail in rebate, with a 2-year contract.
Verizon Wireless began selling the Tab this weekend at $599 with no contract or $399 with contract. Sprint and T-Mobile also offer the Tab at $399 or $599.
