IASCA Shifts Management, Structure

IASCA, the sound off competition group, said its president Paul Papadeas is stepping down and Moe Sabourin will direct the organization. Papadeas will focus his attention on the Spring Break Nationals, which he also oversees.

In addition IASCA has created an executive rules and ethics committee. It aims to ensure that IASCA rules accommodate novice competitors as well as veterans.

The executive committee will include Fred Lynch of Arc Audio, Gary Biggs of Harman America, Mark Eldridge of Mobile Sound Engineering, Scott Buwalda of Hybrid Audio Technologies and Terry Floyd, IASCA champion and judge.
