Sony will launch four new car stereo Xplod head units next month that start at $80.
The leader model is the Xpold CDX-GT250MP, which has MP3/WMA playback, front aux in jack for an iPod or MP3 player connection, remote control, 52 watts of total power, RDS, and 2 preamp sub outputs.
A step up model CDX-GT350MP for $100 adds satellite radio and HD radio plus iPod control capability with optional accessories.
Next, for $130 users get a front USB input, digital signal processing and quick browsing technology in the CDX-GT550UI.
At the top of the new models is the CDX-GT650UI at $160 which allows connections to an iPhone and offers SenseMe technology to automatically organize your music into playlists that each fit a mood.
