Pandora will deliver a keynote address at the Knowledgefest car electronics trade gathering October 10-12 discussing the next generation radio for the car.
Pandora’s senior VP of business development Jessica Steel, who is responsible for working with auto makers, will talk about the possibilities for Pandora in the car as more smartphones are connected to radios. Pandora now has 60 million registered users and views the automobile as its next major platform for growth (along with the TV), as the car is where nearly 50 percent of all radio listening takes place. Steel will speak on October 11 during a KnowledgeFest luncheon.
On Sunday, October 10, the KnowledgeFest luncheon topic will be “closing the retail sale” presented by Daniel Abramson, president of StaffDynamics. Abramson will talk about selling to specific personality types.
Then on Tuesday, Day 3, October 12, Steve Witt, exec VP of DICE Electronics will talk about selling “driver safety” as a way to help move car electronics products.
More than 2 dozen suppliers are expected to exhibit at KnowledgeFest, the car electronics show to be held in Dallas at the Gaylord Texan Hotel.
