We’re going to KnowledgeFest next month and we bet there are good reasons for you to head to Dallas too.
The show’s added exhibitors AudioControl, Audio Enhancers, Dynamat, JBL, Parrot and Precision Interface Electronics to its previous lineup that includes just about every industry heavy hitter or about 20 other suppliers.
KnowledgeFest’s sponsor, MERA (the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association) recently added about 2,000 feet of hall space to accommodate the new exhibitors, so the show floor is now 13,500 square feet.
New seminars have been added to reflect the difficulties of the current retail climate. Some of the seminars include:
From Car Audio Shop to Prime Time Retailer—A Retailer’s Survival Guide
by Mike Dixon. It teaches how to survive as specialist “even in times of catastrophe.”
The Defective Dilemma
led by a panel that includes Alpine, Magnum Distribution, Memphis Car Audio and Powerbass. It tackles the controversial topic of product returns.
Converting Lost Customers Into Cash
by Del Ellis and Mike Dixon. It helps you find customers on social networks sites and promote to the deal seekers on the Web.
More Than Just Car Audio: A Drive Down Opportunity Boulevard
by retailer Lance Putnam and Scosche’s Rick Ross. It helps you expand into new markets including window tinting and automotive accessories.
Also you can meet two Dallas cheerleaders who will attend the event’s party on Monday, October 11. (Maybe we should have mentioned this first).
Other seminars include “Get Customers in the Door,” “Profitability in Your Install Shop,” and numerous installation training sessions from AAMP, Alpine, Audio Control, DICE Electronics, DUAL Electronics, InstallerNet, Harman (JBL), JL Audio, Metra Electronics, Scosche and others.
Also offered is a 3-part series on doing business on the Web by “Internet guru” Mitch Schaffer.
