The NPD Group has added its thoughtful reply to the report this week in Digitimes that said Barnes & Noble Nook shipments exceeded Kindle shipments in March: the Nook accounted for 53% of the eReader shipments from suppliers during that period. NPD notes that it would take about that many eReaders to supply the recent launch at Best Buy, so don’t go writing off the Kindle just yet.
