Automobile sales finished the year at 15.6 million, marking the highest level since COVID (2019).
Sales rose 13 percent over last year.
Automotive News notes that sales may slow in 2024 due to higher interest rates and the higher cost of vehicles. That said, consumers responded to discounts in December.
