Car Toys, based in Seattle, confirmed it has named Yen Tran as VP of Merchandising for Car Toys.
Tran is a young and fast rising executive at Car Toys. She comes from Wireless Advocates, the sister company to Car Toys which closed in December last year. Tran served as Director of Merchandising at Wireless Advocates for about 3 1/2 years after serving as Merchandise Planner for 1 1/2 years.
Tran replaces Gregg Thomas who left the company at the close of last year. He had served at the 49-store chain for about 3 1/2 years.
Car Toys declined to provide more details on Tran’s appointment.
