Sony’s new car audio products at CES included an XAN-V400 navigation module that can work with all of its AV receivers including the new XAV-AX100 CarPlay/Android Auto receiver and new upcoming XAV-631BT and XAV-651BT receivers.
The XAN-V400 lets users add navigation to basic level head units to keep a low price overall. It also lets dealers stock navigation inventory at a lower cost than stocking multiple in-dash navigation devices.
The XAN-V400 will be available in February at a suggested retail price of $329.99.
The XAV-W651BT DVD/receiver and XAV-V631BT CDless AV center will be available in February for $279 and $249, respectively. They work with Sony’s SongPal app and Siri Eyes Free and use one-touch NFC Bluetooth pairing where you simply tap your phone against the receiver. They are rear view camera ready with customizable parking guidelines.
Also new is an MEX-N5200BT single DIN CD player with Bluetooth and SiriusXM capability with Pandora control from an iPhone or Android phone. It will ship in March at $119.99 suggested retail price. Other features include front USB and configurable steering remote input.
An MEX-GS620BT is a single DIN deck with Bluetooth and SiriusXM capability that ships in February at $179.99 suggested retail price. It has a 4x55W amplifier and accepts FLAC files. It also has USB inputs and Pandora access from an iPhone or Android device.
