Cerwin Vega Mobile announced it is now shipping its RPM (Recreation, Powersport, Marine) speaker line introduced at CES in January.
The RPM Vega series includes a 6.5” (VM65) and 8” (VM8) sports vehicle speakers and the RPM Stroker series includes a 5.25” (SM52) model in addition to 6.5” (SM65) and 8” (SM8) versions.
The speakers are IP65 compliant for resistance to dust and water. They are thermal molded and UV-coated and use a a patent-pending waterproof composite paper cone and a 20mm PEI dome tweeter.
Other features include RGB LED lighting with a remote lighting controller as an option.
The step-up RPM Stroker series has a similar construction with more power handling and a more compact neodymium motor structure. The Stroker series also use a 25mm titanium dome tweeter.
