Metra Electronics announced a new car kit for the 2005-2010 Toyota Avalon.
Kit number 95-8215S allows users to replace their factory radio with a double DIN aftermarket radio. It joins the current Metra 99-8215 for single DIN radios. The new double DIN kit removes the DDIN (95-8215S) removes that door over the OE radio to make room for an aftermarket radio. It comes with a wiring harness to retain factory climate control information. It is pre-wired for the AXXESS ASWC-1 steering wheel control interface and it retains factory 3.5 AUX input.
It may also be used with a Metra TYTO-01 interface or 70-1761 harness. An antenna adapter is not required.
