Harman’s Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing, Chris Dragon, is returning to his car audio roots as Senior Director, Marketing Car Aftermarket and Events.
Dragon, who played a key role in building the JBL and Infinity brands dating back to the 80’s, said the company is devoting new resources to the brands in car audio and he will help lead a renewed focus on them.
“I have returned to the land of 12 Volt and could not be more excited,” he said.
“While we will appropriately be participating in MERA KnowledgeFest, the most major indicators of our renewed focus on 12-Volt will be at CES,” he continued. “I have been eager to return to this category. My most recent experiences have added numerous new and creative ideas I cannot wait to take to mobile and share with retailers. With our other categories truly performing, the time is right for mobile to get more focus and my energy.”
At CES last January, Harman announced new vehicle-specific car audio systems and said it will be adding a focus on in-car accessories.
