General Motors has appointed a new OnStar leader–Mary Chan, formerly of Dell.
Chan’s new title at GM is VP of Global Connected Consumer, which is a new post. She will oversee Onstar’s business operations and GM’s recently formed global infotainment business unit.
GM said, “With her background in the consumer electronics/enterprise solutions business and experience in the global wireless networks space, she will be key in driving the set up and execution of GM’s strategic global infotainment plans and OnStar’s global expansion. She will also drive stronger integration across all in-vehicle connectivity services and solutions.”
Chan was formerly Senior VP and GM of enterprise mobility solutions and services at Dell, a post she held since 2009.
