Sony is planning to release, in Japan, anyway, some cool-looking MP3 player docks and speakers including this “cupholder” speaker/tumbler for the car, according to a Sony Japanese press release.
The “tumbler-styled” speaker can sit in a car’s car’s cup holder and deliver 16-watt, 360-degree sound when plugged into a Walkman, says Sony. It also comes with a dock for the home.
Also shown are two home sound docks: the RDP-NW1 AM/FM the RDP-NW1 AM/FM clock radio Walkman dock in black and white and an Internet Radio/Walkman dock in black or pink. Will this come to the U.S? I’m waiting for Sony’s reply.
