Press Release (UNEDITED): Milan, ITA – Elettromedia, the Italian multinational group specializing in the development and manufacturing of high-performance audio systems for the automotive, marine, powersports, and professional audio industries, will make its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, one of the world’s most prestigious events dedicated to the boating industry, taking place from September 8–13 at stand PAN 112.

The Cannes Yachting Festival marks a strategic milestone for the Group, providing the ideal platform to unveil the most significant innovation Audison is bringing to the marine audio market: a new division dedicated to the design, development, and commercialization of innovative audio solutions engineered specifically for the marine sector.

Founded in 1987 in Potenza Picena, Italy, Elettromedia has grown into a global company operating in 72 countries, with seven international offices and a fully integrated business model encompassing research and development, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution. Through its brands Audison, Hertz, and Lavoce, the Group has built an international reputation based on technological innovation, outstanding sound quality, and continuous research carried out by a multidisciplinary team of more than 80 engineers and researchers. Its participation in the Cannes Yachting Festival represents another important step in the company’s international growth strategy, bringing its technological expertise to the premium marine industry.

The highlight of the exhibition will be the launch of Audison’s new Marine Division, created to bring the brand’s expertise, technological innovation, and renowned sound quality—developed through more than four decades of premium automotive audio engineering—to the world of yachting. The project is built around the concept of the Marine Audiophile Experience, a vision that places exceptional sound quality at the heart of life on board and redefines the role of audio systems in the marine environment. Rather than being merely a technical component, audio becomes a defining element capable of enhancing comfort, design, and the overall onboard experience.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Elettromedia will introduce Thesis, the flagship line of the new Marine Division: a fully integrated ecosystem designed to set a new benchmark in premium marine audio. The range includes 7.7-inch and 8.8-inch coaxial speakers, 10-inch and 12-inch subwoofers, next-generation DSP amplifiers, digital source units, and control interfaces developed to ensure seamless onboard integration. Alongside the standard models, INTEGRA versions will also be available, specifically engineered for installations that blend perfectly with yacht architecture.

A defining feature of the new platform is its Hi-Res Audio certification issued by the Japan Audio Society, one of the world’s most respected authorities in high-resolution audio reproduction. Thanks to this achievement, Audison is currently the only brand in the marine sector to offer complete audio systems certified as Hi-Res Audio, representing a genuine point of differentiation within the market.

The certification confirms compliance with Hi-Res Audio specifications, including an extended frequency response up to 40 kHz—one full octave beyond the conventional market standard—resulting in greater instrumental realism and a wider soundstage. It is tangible proof of a design philosophy that goes beyond engineering excellence to redefine the onboard listening experience, delivering authentic, immersive, and emotionally engaging sound, even under the most demanding acoustic conditions encountered at sea.

Supporting this philosophy are a new design language defined by the distinctive double-wave grille, whose geometry disperses sound more effectively in open environments while simultaneously diverting water and minimizing salt deposits, proprietary signal-processing technologies, and advanced engineering solutions developed to ensure maximum reliability and performance in the harshest marine conditions. Key technological highlights include outstanding weather resistance, with up to 1,000 hours of salt fog resistance, significantly exceeding the industry’s leading standards, and IP65 certification, providing a high level of protection against dust and water jets. The entire platform has been engineered to meet the needs of premium boat builders, naval architects, and yacht owners by combining cutting-edge technology, exceptional sound quality, and sophisticated design.

With its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the launch of Audison’s new Marine Division, Elettromedia opens a new chapter in its industrial journey, extending its technological expertise and culture of excellence into the marine industry. This milestone represents not only the company’s entry into a high-potential market, but also the natural evolution of a path built on research, innovation, and continuous technological development.
