West Marine, the largest specialty boating retailer in the US, has identified 59 retail locations it plans to close as part of its ongoing Chapter 11 restructuring, according to court documents.
CEoutlook previously reported on the company’s bankruptcy filing in May. At the time, CEO Paulee Day said all approximately 200 retail locations would remain open during the process.
The closures represent roughly one quarter of the chain’s more than 240 locations. A full list of affected stores was published by Trade Only Today.
