Audio Dynamics Expands

.Audio Dynamics’ founder Aaron White has been slowly building the brand over the past 16 years, and has seen sales increase dramatically over the past year or so.

White started as a retailer, eventually owning three stores in Missouri, and was looking for a new protected brand.  He negotiated a 10 percent discount with a supplier, who stalled and eventually reneged on the deal.  In frustration he sourced his own product starting back around 2010, which became Audio Dynamics, based in Farmington, MO.

To get the company off the ground, White  toured about 2,000 car audio shops around the country from 2014 through 2019.  He took off one to two weeks per month to travel in a Sprinter van with a switching system showing his products.  At first he tried scheduling appointments, but shop owners thought it a solicitation and would hang up. So White explained,  “I would walk in unannounced.  I had a picture of the van interior because they’d try to shut me down at the counter. I’d show the picture and they’d come out.  Or they’d still  try to shoot me down, so I’d say, ‘Set your watch for two minutes,’ and that’s when I’ll stop the demo.”  He said 99 percent would come out and no one stopped him at 2 minutes.

The problem was, one or two people from the shop would experience the demonstration but the rest of the employees weren’t sold on this “new” and unheard of brand.  Retention of the dealer base increased after teaming up with Vault Marketing, expanding product categories and establishing a larger social media footprint. White said he’d also like to get back on the road.

Audio Dynamics sells at full price from its website, which is the only way a customer can purchase online. To protect its retailers, silver and gold level dealers receive the profits from any sale made within their territory.

In December 2024, Audio Dynamics launched a speaker line developed with Dan Wiggins, best known as the principal transducer engineer at SONOS and QSC and the creator of the patented XBL Motor technology.  The Master Series speakers were designed with no budget restriction and targeted world class sound quality. Then, also, with Wiggins, the High Fidelity and Sonic Excellence speakers were launched this February at a lower cost.

Audio Dynamics also just launched connection and sound deadening lines last month.  The connection line includes braided and twisted tinned 100% OFC power wire, tinned 100% OFC speaker, primary, and signal cables, brass accessories like fuse holders, distribution blocks, fuses, and terminals. The sound deadening line includes six performance specific products which consist of Panel Guard, Roof Guard, Door-N-Floor Guard, Speaker Guard, Wave Guard, and Vibe Guard.

The company’s lineup also includes SQ, pro audio, and marine speakers, amplifiers, auto-tune DSPs, and subwoofers. Subwoofers range from 300 to 4,000 watt power handling at prices from $119 to $1,649.  Amplifiers range from 400 to 12,000 watt output from $249 to 3,499.
