Monster Audio is new car audio brand with ties to Monster Cable.

Monster Audio is a new brand with ties to Monster Cable, the legendary, audio cable company led by Noel Lee.

The brand is licensed by Monster Cable and headquartered in Mexico.  It has some unique features.  It includes pro audio products that may be the only ones of their type to carry a one-year exchange warranty on all products.

Monster Audio is a value line that includes 9 and 10 inch head units.  Amplifiers go down to ½ ohm stable, with speakers at an impedance of 8 ohms and 100 dB plus sensitivity. This allows the products to be extremely durable, and hence the generous warranty, said Shawn Simpson of Crossover Marketing Southeast, one of the Monster Audio’s manufacturer reps.

Monster Audio presently partners with a single North American distributor Elite Distributions out of Beaumont TX, and the brand is looking for other distributors and dealers, according to Simpson.

Head of Elite Distributions, Steve Beaumont, said, “I’ve been working on this process for a couple of years. Throughout the process, I’ve been testing the equipment, which is very durable. I’m really excited for the launch. “

Beaumont started as a car audio hobbyist, who eventually entered the distribution business.

Online rights to the brand are still owned by Noel Lee and his son who have not opened Monster Audio up to third party websites including Amazon, said Simpson.
