Press Release (EDITED): Oklahoma City, OK – DD Audio has released the M9000 Half-Bridge Monoblock Amplifier. The new unit replaces the M8000 and continues the company’s M Series high-current amplifier line.

The M9000 is built around DD’s 7th-generation M Series circuit, revised with a focus on extended reliability, durability, and improved transient response. The company says the upgrades deliver greater control and stability under load.

On the power supply side, the M9000 represents a 30% increase in the current power supply capacitance over the M8000. The high-current PCB pathways have been redesigned and the power supply configuration expands to six toroidal transformers, up from four. The MOSFET count is also increased across the board, total MOSFETs go from 16 to 24, and output section going from 12 to 16. The heatsink has also been lengthened to better handle demanding thermal loads.

Thermal management is handled by DD Audio’s proprietary High Volume Air Circulation (HVAC) system. The heavy-duty extruded aluminum heatsink is paired with an internal brushless fan that draws cooler air through an elevated bottom panel and end panel vents. Additional features include triple power terminal blocks, 24 dB/oct bandpass filters, and an input for DD’s ZVL linking module.

The M9000 is rated at 9,000W. Full specs are available at www.ddaudio.com.
