Epsilon buys company

Epsilon, supplier of car audio brands including Soundstream, Precision Power and Power Acoustik, has purchased the assets of Bassani Xhaust, which builds premium American-made motorcycle exhaust systems, said Epsilon.

As a result of the deal, Epsilon will change its name to Bassani Manufacturing USA.

As Epsilon supplies radios and audio for Harley motorcycles, the deal deepens its role in motorcycle accessories. “We’re showing that we’re dedicated to the Harley industry, not just in electronics,” said VP Sales Ronnie Brashear of Epsilon, now Bassani.

Bassani Manufacturing USA will continue to manufacture its products in Southern California.  Epsilon said it is “committed to carrying forward the vision of Darryl Bassani– preserving his spirit, standards, and passion that helped define the brand.” The company said it will remain “focused on delivering the performance, sound, and workmanship customers have come to expect, while building on that foundation for the future.”

The deal, effective today, includes all Bassani Xhaust digital assets, machinery, trademarks and other assets.

Brashear noted that many Epsilon reps are already calling on motorcycle dealers and so this provides them more products to offer the dealers.
