We are looking for a skilled and motivated Car Audio Technician to join our team in a full-time position. This role focuses on handling product returns, re-conning speakers/subwoofers, testing audio products, and supporting customers with technical inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair returned car audio products
- Refurbish and test speakers, amplifiers, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Assist customers with product support and technical questions
- Maintain accurate records of returns, repairs, testing, and inventory
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction
- Occasionally travel to trade shows and support the sales team
Requirements:
- Proficiency in technical support, troubleshooting car audio products issues
- Experience working with car audio systems, knowledge on Ohm’s Law to Match components properly (amp to speakers/subs)
- Strong customer service and customer support skills
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (drill, screwdrivers, etc.) Proper use of multimeter (voltage, continuity testing)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
