The next generation of 5 Axis Innovations displays can be configured to showcase a store’s entire product lineup on a single touch screen, replacing single use display boards. The new platform supports multiple categories including lighting, powersports, marine, motorcycle, window tint, dashcams and paint protection film. Categories can be added, removed, or swapped out entirely.

The platform is available in 32- and 43-inch screen sizes and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. It can be customized with a store’s logo, colors, and branding.

“The dealer schedules a time with one of our staff to discuss the requested changes, receives a Dropbox link, and downloads the updated file onto a micro SD card,” said 5 Axis Founder Jody Culbertson. A change in product category can be added and removed quickly. Dealers can also call in model and price changes and discontinued products to avoid quoting errors.

The system supports video provided by manufacturers. Pricing can be displayed or hidden based on dealer preference. A built-in upsell feature prompts salespeople with product suggestions based on what a customer is currently viewing. For example, a customer browsing radar detection systems will trigger a suggestion for compatible laser diffusion products.

An integrated LED lighting base is available as an add on to boost in-store visibility.

The system is designed to adapt as a dealer’s business evolves. It a dealer wants to enter dashcams, the system can create a dashcam display.

Culbertson noted that the display is designed to support sales staff, not replace them, by putting product information and service plan details at their fingertips.

  1. I have spoken to 5axis about these displays as they offer a very nice remote start display. The biggest challenge with these displays, is the owner of the store does not have the ability to modify or update the display any time they want. The dealer has to reach out to 5axis and pay them additional fees to update the display. The timing and back and forth of getting this done is way to logistical and takes too much time. The dealer should have the ability to go in and make changes anytime they want and not have to rely on reaching out to 5axis, paying extra fees, sending them the changes, and then waiting for the changes to take place.
