Audiophile DSPs Break Barriers from Resolut

Resolut Audio high end car audio DSP like nothing you've heard.

Resolut is an audiophile car audio brand by Russian engineers that offers DSP on a level as yet unseen in the car, according to its US importer HKI.

The sound produced rivals the best in ultra high end home audio,” said Nick Wingate, Director of Car Audio Development for HKI USA.

Resolut DSP systems have a very high signal-to-noise ratio at over 115dB, which is extremely quiet, so listeners hear things on the recordings typically missed in other sound systems, said Wingate.

Resolut uses ESS high end Sabre digital audio converters such as the ES9038, which is “the best in the world” even in home audio, according to Wingate.

Resolut’s power supply operates at an ultra fast 1MHz, allowing all the other processor components to work at peak efficiency, he said.

Resolut offers a full line up, including up to 16-channel DSPs as well as high end DSP/amplifiers.  The processors come with a coaxial and a TOSLINK input.  For other inputs, internal modules are offered, such as an 8-channel analog module or USB B module or Hi Resolution Bluetooth module.

Distribution is, of course, limited, and products are available as built-to-order. Prices start at $1,550 MAP for the 8-channel A-DSP, and can go up to a fully-optioned M-DSP with controller at $5,700 MAP. See Resolut products here.

DSP amplifiers are also available starting at $4,250.

HKI Director of Operations Jacob Brown said bringing Resolut to the US has been a pet project of his for the last year. The aim was to create a new high end in the market.  He said the products “fill a void that is missing in not only our product offering, but also the US market in general.”

Industry members can judge the sound quality of the products themselves in demo vehicles at KnowledgeFest in Las Vegas and MasterTech Expo next year.  Resolut may also be heard at the following stores and events:

MTi Audio in College Station, TX: a demo vehicle with a Resolut M

Audio Innovations in Conway, AR: Dodge Ram truck with a Resolut M.

Florida International Audio Expo (FLAEX): (2 channel high end audio show in late February 2026): Demo system with a Resolut T.

AXPONA 2026 (high end home audio show outside of Chicago, April 10-12 ): Demo system with Resolut M processor.

Texas Heatwave COTA: Held late July 2026 with demo vehicles for Resolut systems.

  1. I would say same could be said about China. Are we going to go down this path? I would say comments like these are not needed or are constructive.

  2. Newsflash it’s made in China. Rebadged or assembled in Russia. Obviously. Unfortunately the same things said about Russia can be said about China. Stop doing business with China and only the large corps like apple google etc. will profit and everyone in our industry will disappear in 1-2 years.

  3. Shame on any person or company willing to work with a Russian company. They are our enemy no matter what you think. They are under minding us at every turn. They are not our friend. They have infiltrated our key infrastructure like power grids, water, air traffic controlling, and way more. Does that sound like an ally?

    1. *undermining. And agreed, there’s no need for a comment like this here. Thank you for sharing the announcement, CE Outlook.
