After bringing the Harman Kardon name to aftermarket car audio for the first time last year, Harman is now expanding the line with two new subwoofers.
Shipping in the second quarter next year are a shallow mount 10-inch model and a powered enclosed sub for under the seat.
The new shallow subwoofer has a selectable impedance switch to change from 2 to 4 ohms, allowing dealers to carry fewer SKUs. It handles 350 watts RMS with a mounting depth under 3.5 inches. It also has an aluminum cone. Pricing is expected to be around $279.
It is joined by the FEEL 700, an under-the-seat powered subwoofer with a 7-inch enclosed woofer. It offers 125 watts RMS. Users can daisy chain the subwoofer. Expected retail price is $299.
