Sony names new 12 volt manager of distribution

Alpine (Alps Alpine North America) has appointed former Sony account manager/sales rep Michael Rundel to the new post of Senior Specialist of New Distribution Development for the aftermarket.

In his new post, Rundel is in charge of finding new avenues of sales (distribution) and positioning Alpine product in front of new audiences, said Alpine.

Rundel brings 30 years of experience to the post.  He spent his early career as an installer and then manager at a car audio retailer in Detroit.  He then moved to AT&T as a training manager for cellular retail locations, supporting accounts like Ford, Visteon, and Delphi.  Later, at Sirius, he helped launch Sirius Satellite Radio.  He has also held posts at Clarion Car Audio, Davis Distribution Systems and Mobileye as well as Sony.

We look forward to seeing what he will bring to this role and to the Alpine brand.”
