Update on 2-Inch Mini Subwoofers

Big Jeff Audio is teaming up with B2 Audio USA to expand its new 2-inch car subwoofer line. The original B2 Audio Rampage RC2 mini subwoofer for radio-controlled cars became a novelty item that sold over 3,000 units in 2025. Now a second B2 RIOT-RC2 will launch at the end of Q3 along with new mini accessories.

Big Jeff Audio will offer single and dual 3D-printed subwoofer boxes, matching 3D-printed B2 Audio Amplifier boxes and glow-in-the-dark variations. The amplifier boxes house a small Bluetooth chip amplifier from Amazon – the Daakro ZK-1001B. “It was just easier to use this amplifier than to create our own,” said Big Jeff.

For B2 Audio dealers, Big Jeff Audio created custom business card holders with a working subwoofer box (see below). We first reported on the 2-inch B2 Audio original mini subwoofer in February.  The novelty product has now amassed over 2 million views on social media.

B2 Audio and Big Jeff are now offering a “Robot Fighting” contest where B2 Audio’s 2-inch subs can be used in any robotic project. The contest-winner will be based on creativity, design and engineering in adding audio to robotics.  There’s also one additional category based on social media outreach.  This portion of the contest is judged on the amount of buzz the contestant can create. The deadline for Round 2 of the Fighting Robot Contest is set to end on July 8^th (click here for more details).
