Louisiana-based lighting company Flashtech displayed at the recent PNWCEE Mobile Electronics Expo a somewhat unique modular off-road lighting system called TRI-FORGE.

The system uses individual lighting cubes that can link to create a light bar of any length in different configurations. The cubes feature low-beam, high-beam and DRLs (Day Time Running Lights) in a waterproof IP67 4-inch x 5-inch x 3-inch (depth) housing.

The TRI-FORGE 12000 lumen cubes are currently shipping.

“Traditional cube lights or light bars only project light a short distance in front of the vehicle. With the integration of high-beam and low-beam reflective surfaces within the same housing, we are able to project the light much further while adding the safety of DRL,” said Bruce Gilsdorf, Manufacturers Representative for Flashtech.

Flashtech specializes in automotive LED solutions. It was founded in 2007 but has been largely a regional supplier in the Southeast until now. The company, based in Metairie, LA is led by CEO Stephen Gordon.
